Culture as a Resource for Wellbeing: The Impact and Integration of Arts-Based Interventions for Young People
In 2026, Cupore is participating in a research project that uses a mixed-methods approach to examine arts- and culture-based workshop models for young people and their effects on mental health, coping with everyday life and readiness for working life.
The aim is to generate evidence to support decision-making and the development of services. The study examines which approaches are effective, how they support young people’s wellbeing, and how they can be integrated into services provided by wellbeing services counties, municipalities and non-governmental organisations.
The project is being carried out by South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk), Mixed Methods Productions Oy and Cupore. It is funded through the Finnish Government’s research funding programme.
