Internship announcement: University Intern for the Production of the “State of Cultural Policy” Event
The Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore is seeking a university intern to assist in the production of the State of Cultural Policy event.
The State of Cultural Policy event will be held for the first time on 25 May 2026 at Bio Rex in Helsinki. The event will provide a new forum for public discussion on the current state and future directions of Finnish cultural policy.
The intern’s duties include assisting with event production and communications. The tasks will focus on coordinating participants’ schedules and registrations, producing and distributing informational materials, and other production-related duties.
The position requires proficiency in Finnish. Knowledge of other languages (especially Swedish and English) is considered an asset.

- good interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- experience in event production.
Good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn new things are considered an advantage in this position.
The duration of the university internship is three months. The internship will begin in March 2026. The exact starting date will be agreed upon together.
Nature of work: Full-time employment. Regular weekly working hours are 36 hours 15 minutes. The workplace is Cupore’s office. Remote work is possible by agreement. Work is carried out on weekdays.
Duration: 3 months. Preferred period 1 March–31 May. Start date to be agreed upon.
Salary: €1,693–€1,863. To be agreed based on the applicant’s experience. Internship support from an educational institution or a similar form of support is considered an asset.
