Artist, is freedom of the arts realised in your work? Respond to the new Arts and Culture Barometer survey

The Cultural Policy Research Cupore and the Finnish Arts and Culture Agency (Kuvi) are gathering information this autumn on the state of freedom of the arts in Finland.

The survey is aimed at all professional artists working in different fields of the arts.

The purpose of the survey is to is to gather information about freedom of the arts and the factors that support and limit it. The survey also examines the views of artists regarding their professional future and their outlook on the future.

Artists can respond to the survey by 7 October 2026.

Everyone who responds and provides their contact information will be entered into a prize drawing for the chance to win one of 10 Museum Cards. If you already have a Museum Card, you can use the prize to extend its validity by one year.

The results of the Arts and Culture Barometer 2026 will be published in spring 2027.
