Career Paths, Working Conditions, and Status of Artists with Foreign Background in Finland – Diversity Report 2025

Cupore will carry out a study commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Culture during 2025–2026 to examine the experiences and perspectives of artists with foreign background regarding their professional conditions, as well as the realization of equality and non-discrimination in Finland from an intersectional perspective.

This research is part of Cupore’s series of diversity reports and continues the work of the 2023 Diversity Report, which laid the foundation for examining the position of artists with foreign backgrounds living in Finland. The new study will deepen previous findings through interviews and update the tables and figures included in the 2023 report.
