Mapping and evaluation of the operation of the information centres for the arts in Finland
The center for cultural policy research Cupore conducted a research project focusing on the information centres for the arts in Finland. The project was set by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The research project mapped the operations of the information centres for the arts in their respective fields based on the centres’ self-evaluations, interviews, and a survey for arts and culture professionals.
The research was conducted in 2018–2020 by Sakarias Sokka, Vappu Renko, Emmi Lahtinen and Marjatta Kuisma.

Ongoing research
State of Cultural Policy
The goal of the project is to improve the overall understanding of the current state of Finnish cultural policy and to promote evidence-based societal debate. As part of the project, a publication titled State of Cultural Policy 2025 will be produced, and an event with the same name will be organised in May 2026.
