Cupore has published its equality and non-discrimination plan for the upcoming years
The Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore has published its equality and non-discrimination plan for 2022–2025. The plan focuses on the achievement of non-discrimination and gender equality at the center. It also lays out goals and measures to promote them.
Equality and non-discrimination are central values in Cupore’s operations. They have also been one of the research themes, and the information produced by the research has been used to promote the themes in the field of arts and culture. Preparing and following the equality and non-discrimination plan is a part of the practical implementation of Cupore’s strategy.
According to the plan, Cupore will enhance non-discrimination and the equal treatment of the people in the work community and take the issue into account in planning its operations, in developing the employees’ competences and in all its communications. Attention is moreover paid to the perspectives of equality and non-discrimination in the acquisition and analysis of research data.
The achievement of the goals of the equality and non-discrimination plan will be assessed every two years in order to detect and intervene in experiences of unequal treatment.
