Cultural wellbeing for the elderly and the operating conditions of artists
The objective of the research project was to produce a situation picture of the political and administrative system connected to cultural wellbeing in 2023 and to examine its prospects for artists working in the field. Both earlier and new interview and survey data were utilized. The research project got its framework from The National Programme on Ageing 2030 prepared by the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM) and from the development programme Wellbeing from Culture for the Elderly (IKO) of Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike). This research is an indirect continuation of the evaluation research of the government program’s cultural flagship project carried out by Cupore from 2016 to 2019.
